New Rack End to fit Audi A4 & A5 Series with ZF Racks (2/2008 – On.)
At Ultimate Power Steering we have new aftermarket Rack Ends for the Audi A4 & A5 Series built from 2/2008 on.
These new rack ends are a very cost effective option than a complete new steering rack.
In most steering systems with a steering rack fitted the steering rack can suffer from wear & tear. As the vehicle gets older and the kilometers traveled increases the most common replacement part of the steering rack is the Rack Ends.
If the Rack Ends wear, this allows movement in the inner joint commonly called “Rack End End-Float”. This can affect the tyre wear and the driving “Feel” of the vehicle due to this movement in the Rack Ends.
Our new Rack End can be installed by simply un-screwing the old worn unit from the main steering rack shaft and then installing the new Rack Ends.

Audi A4 series “B8” with ZF Rack No 7831-993-126. Built from 2/08 – On.
Audi A5 series with ZF Rack No 7831-993-142. Built from 2/08 – On.
