Idle-Up Switch Conversion Kit for Subaru Pumps with “Clip-In Series” Switch
Most of the Subaru Pumps have Idle-Up Switches fitted to the Power Steering Pump, this switch up-idles the engine to prevent the engine stalling when the pressure builds-up inside the power steering system during parking situations.
This switch has an issue with leakage and over time the switch will need to be replaced. Until now the only way to replace this switch was to purchase a complete new power steering pump assembly through the Subaru Dealer networks.
Ultimate Power Steering has designed and developed a New Idle-Up Switch conversion Kit that simply fit directly into the existing power steering pump on most of the Subaru Pumps.
The Kit Includes –
- 1 x New Conversion Plug/Switch
- 1 x New O-Ring to be fitted to the Conversion Plug/Switch
- 1 x New C-Clip to retain the New Plug/Switch
- 1 x New Isolation Spacer
- 1 x New Wiring Loom (Note – The Factory Plastic End Housing needs to be reused)
- 1 x Fitment - Instruction Sheet
