New Power Steering Rack Mounting Kit for Toyota Landcruiser 100 Series 4WD Wagon (9/02 – 2/08)
This Steering Rack Mounting Kit has been developed to improve the Steering Rack movement problems that are found in this series of Toyota Landcruiser.
Using durable polyurethane bushings to positively locate the steering rack into the chassis, this dramatically improves the location on the steering rack and ultimately the feel of the vehicle on and off road. This high quality replacement mounting kit comes with our 2 year 40,000klm replacement warranty.
Kit includes – 4 x ½ Bushings, 2 x New steel crush tubes and 2 x New Steel Support Washers.
Special Note – To remove the original Toyota Rubber bushings you will need to remove the rack from the vehicle and the steel outer shell parts must be removed, this can be achieved by a hydraulic press or similar tools.
Assembly Note - When installing this kit the Support Washers must be installed on the top of the Upper mounting bushes under the head to the mounting bolts, this is to support the bush.
