Product Description
New Rack End to fit Falcon BA & BF (RTV Ute Series) built from 9/2003 to 4/2008.
The BA & BF Series RTV Ute’s have a longer inner housing on the Rack End. This is due to the raised suspension that was fitted to the RTV series Ute.
When changing the rack ends please check that your vehicle is a “RTV” as the no RTV Ute has shorter rack end inner housing.
In most steering systems with a steering rack fitted the steering rack can suffer from wear & tear. As the vehicle gets older and the kilometers traveled increases the most common replacement part of the steering rack is the Rack Ends.
If the Rack Ends wear, this allows movement in the inner joint commonly called “Rack End End-Float”. This can affect the tyre wear and the driving “Feel” of the vehicle due to this movement in the Rack Ends.
At Ultimate Power Steering we have new aftermarket Rack Ends for the Falcon BA & BF (RTV Ute Series) and the best thing is they are a very cost effective option.
The Rack Ends on this model can be replaced by simply un-screwing them from the main steering rack shaft and then installing the new Rack Ends.
We can freight the rack ends anywhere within Australia in most cases this is an overnight service.
