Product Description
New RHS Rack End to fit Nissan / Datsun 240Z and 260Z Manual Steering Racks ranging from 5/74 to 12/1978.
The Nissan / Datsun 240Z and 260Z were manufactured from 5/1974 to 12/1978. The wear on the steering racks, and rack ends can be excessive, depending on how each vehicle has been driven.
In applications like the Nissan / Datsun 240Z and 260Z there was no after-market rack end available, so the only option to repair the wear in the rack end was to try to re-shim the inner race end seat, this is a long and difficult process made even harder by the fact that the factory Rack End was spot-welded together.
This in mind Ultimate Power Steering has a new-designed one-piece replacement Rack End.
Please Note – The Right Hand Side Rack End has a Right Hand Thread for the Right Hand outer Tie Rod End and the Left Hand Side Rack End has a LH thread for the Left Hand outer Tie Rod End, so when ordering you will need to purchase both the RHS Rack End
Part No P1135 and the LHS Rack End Part No P1134 as they are different Right to Left hand Sides.
Our new after-market rack end has been manufactured as a direct replacement to the original Rack End, but with a better design that allows the easy fitment to the Nissan / Datsun 240Z and 260Z Steering Racks.
Our replacement is a simple screw-on and lock design so there is no fiddly adjustments required unlike the original design.
Our new aftermarket Rack End P1135 for the Nissan / Datsun 240Z and 260Z (Right Hand Side) are on the shelf ready for dispatch. If your 240Z or 260Z has steering issues the Rack Ends are most likely the problem and there is now a solution.
We can freight the rack ends anywhere within Australia in most cases this is an overnight service.
