Almost all Toyota‘s with Hydraulic Power Steering that have either a Power Steering Box or a Power Steering Rack with inverted flare pipe fittings have a very unusual sized thread for the return ports, this thread size is M17 x 1.5 pitch.
The most common problem with this inverted flare factory fitting is that over time the nut and the steel tube can rust together and when removing it you have no option other than unscrewing the nut and damaging the steel tube and the nut, so you cannot put your vehicle back together easily.
Until now the only option was to purchase a complete replacement power steering return hose assembly through the Toyota Dealer networks, unfortunately the dealers have limited stock or try to find one from a wrecker that is not rusted and damaged.
