New Idle-Up Switch for Ford Falcon FG Series with 6 & 8 Cylinder Engines fitted.

This series of Ford Falcon have an Idle-Up Switch fitted to the High Pressure line, this switch up-idles the engine to prevent the engine stalling when the pressure builds-up during parking situations.

This switch has an issue with leakage and over time the switch will need to be replaced. Until now the only way to replace this switch was to purchase a complete new power steering high & low pressure hose assembly through the Ford Dealer networks.

Ultimate Power Steering has sourced New Idle-Up Switches that simply fit directly into the existing high pressure hose on the FG series of Falcon. This Switch will also fit the Falcon Ute’s as well with 6 Cylinder Engines fitted.

Our New Idle-Up Switches will fit all Ford Falcon & Fairland FG Series, with 6 & 8 cylinder engines and build dates ranging from 5/08 - On as well as the 6 & 8 Cylinder FG Falcon Ute Range.

(We have also sourced the complete hose assembly if you want to replace the assembly including a new switch our Part No for the new assembly is HOSE-21)
